Bipin Rawat Daughters: India’s first Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Bipin Rawat passed away in an unfortunate Indian Air Force (IAF) chopper accident. His wife Madhulika Rawat along with 11 others were also killed in the helicopter crash.
Announcing their demise, the IAF had tweeted, “With deep regret, it has now been ascertained that Gen Bipin Rawat, Mrs Madhulika Rawat, and 11 other persons on board have died in the unfortunate accident.”
Their bodies were brought to Delhi in a military aircraft. The bodies of Gen Rawat and his wife will be kept at their 3 Kamaraj Marg residence. This will allow general public to pay their final respects from 11 am to 12:30 pm today. The funeral is scheduled for 4 pm today. The couple is survived by two daughters. Kritika Rawat and Tarini Rawat, Bipin Rawat's daughters, paid their last respects to their parents on 10 December, performed their last rites at the Brar Square crematorium, Delhi Cantt. Today morning, they collected the ashes of their parents which will be immersed in Haridwar, Uttarakhand today.

She pursued psychology from Delhi University. She was also the president of the Army Wives Welfare Association (AWWA) as she believed in constantly giving back to society. She worked tirelessly towards to uplift Army widows, differently-abled children, cancer patients, and dependents of Indian Army personnel.
Brig Lakhwinder Singh Lidder's daughter pays tribute
Brig Lakhwinder Singh Lidder also lost his life in the Indian Air Force (IAF) helicopter crash that took place near the Upper Coonoor region in Tamil Nadu. He was set to be promoted as Major General soon. His wife Geetika Lidder and 16-year-old daughter Aashna Lidder also paid their last respects to him at Brar Square in Delhi Cantt.
Remembering her dad, Aashna Lidder said, "I am going to be 17. So he was with me for 17 years, we will go ahead with happy memories. It's a national loss. My father was a hero, my best friend. Maybe it was destined and better things will come our way. He was my biggest motivator"
