K-pop stars and popular couple HyunA and Dawn have broken up according to HyunA's recent Instagram post. The couple were allegedly engaged earlier this year, thus the news left their fans shocked.

Celebrity breakups often seem to feel personal as fans remain involved in their lives and the popular couples sharing any updates about their relationship becomes news. Similarly, the unfortunate update about the couple HyunA and Dawn has broken the hearts of the fans of the couple too.

1. The popular Korean celebrity couple were allegedly dating since 2016. In 2018 they made their relationship public and over the years they have shared photos of their special moments together on their social media accounts.
2. The couple were managed by CUBE Entertainment which discontinued them after they announced their relationship. Soon after they joined PSY's P Nation together and were working with them.
3. According to reports, in February 2021, Dawn and HyunA shared a cryptic post about their engagement. Dawn had posted a photo with the caption, "Marry Me" which HyunA reposted and wrote, "Of course it’s a Yes." But these posts are currently not visible in any of their social media accounts.
4. In 2022, according to reports, the duo had kissed on stage during a performance at the Seoul Music Awards.
5. But yesterday suddenly, HyunA updated her fans about the breakup by posting it on Instagram. The singer wrote in Korean which translates to, "We broke up. We decided to remain as good friends and colleagues from now on. Thank you always for your support and for looking over us fondly."
6. The fans of the couple commented on the post with disbelief about the news. One fan wrote, "love? nope for me doesn’t exist after seeing this", while another person commented, "I can understand that. We love you and I wish you can love the person who deserve it. Do not care about other people’s opinion and keep being yourself. Love who you wanna love and always put yourself in the priority and stand up for yourself. You’re so braveeee! And congratulations for new life!"
7. The couple has memorable songs together like Ping Pong which was released last year.

There hasn't been any official statement from singer Dawn about the relationship update as of yet.
