Husband Gifts Taj Mahal Like House: A man has built a Taj Mahal like plush home for his wife in Madhya Pradesh's Burhanpur. In an interview, he said that the building was a gift to his wife.
Anand Chokse is a resident of Burhanpur. He always wondered why the Taj Mahal was not built in his city Burhanpur as Shah Jahan's wife Mumtaz had died in that city. It is said that the Taj Mahal was to be built on the banks of the Tapti river but was later built in Agra.
Anand Chokse, a resident of Burhanpur, was always of the view that Taj Mahal should have been built in his city as his wife Mumtaz had died in that city only, as per a report. The 4-bedroom house is an exact replica of the Taj Mahal and has taken three years to build. The height of the dome is at 29 feet. The house has a big hall, 2 bedrooms downstairs, 2 bedroom upstairs, a library and also a meditation room.
The house illuminates in the dark just like real Taj Mahal. This is because there is lighting done both inside and outside the house.
In December last year, a couple from Ajmer in Rajasthan won hearts on the internet. Reason? A man from Ajmer gifted his wife a plot on the moon as their wedding anniversary present.
