After badminton ace Saina Nehwal‘s powerpacked comeback match, which resulted in her entry into the second round of women’s singles in the ongoing the Hong Kong Super Series, Olympic silver-medallist PV Sindhu too is generating a positive buzz with her good performance there. The Indian shuttler is easing her way into the game and has also advanced to the second round of the women’s singles competition.
Sindhu had an easy defence as she notched up a 21-13, 21-16 win over Susanto Yulia Yosephin of Indonesia in 32 minutes. The Indian left her rival confused and far behind throughout the match that gave her the opportunity to lock the first game.

The opponent gave a tight second game to Sindhu but she went ahead at 12-9, though her Indonesian rival fought back to tie the score at 16-16.

In the second round, Sindhu will face off Hsu Ya Ching of Chinese Taipei, who beat seventh seed Sing Ji Hyun of Korea in the first round.
