The emotional clip, posted on July 4, shows Khan sitting in front of a mirror while her friend braids her hair. Beside her, her mother sits on the bed, audibly upset. Despite the difficult moment, the actor maintains a smile throughout.

In the video, Khan can be heard consoling her mother, saying, "Please don't cry, Mom. It's just hair." She reassures her mother that it's okay and tries to comfort her. Sharing her decision to cut her hair, Khan wrote, "You can hear my mother's emotional voice in the background as she mentally prepares herself for something unimaginable." She explains that she chose to cut her hair before it began to fall out, avoiding prolonged emotional distress.
Khan sees her real strength not in her hair but in her courage and self-love, "So, I choose to let go of my crown because I’ve realized my real crown is my COURAGE, my STRENGTH, and the love I have for myself.”
Moreover, Khan revealed her plan to use her hair to make a wig during this phase. She remains optimistic, knowing that hair will grow back, eyebrows will return, and scars will fade, but her spirit and determination will remain strong.
Khan recently shared a video from her first chemotherapy session on Instagram. In the video, Khan first appears on the red carpet, posing for the paparazzi and receiving an award at an event. The scene then shifts to her walking into the hospital for her chemo, visibly emotional as she says, "All glam is gone, and I'm ready for my first chemo in the hospital. Let's get better."

Khan says, "We become what we believe in, and I have decided to take this challenge as an opportunity to reinvent myself again. I have decided to keep the spirit of positivity as the first tool in my toolkit. I choose to normalise this experience for me, and I have consciously decided to manifest the outcome I desire."
On June 28, Khan took to Instagram to share that she had been diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. She put out a statement addressing concerns and assured her fans that she would overcome the challenge soon. "I have been diagnosed with Stage Three Breast Cancer. Despite this challenging diagnosis, I want to reassure everyone that I am doing well. I am strong, determined, and fully committed to overcoming this disease. My treatment has already begun, and I am ready to do everything necessary to emerge from this even stronger."

Further, she expressed that she remains positive and hopeful to win this battle. "I, along with my family and loved ones, remain focused, determined, and positive. With the grace of the Almighty, we believe I will overcome this challenge and be completely healthy."
