Woman Accused of Molestation:A case was filed under the POCSO Act against a woman by the minor's mother who alleged that the accused woman visited her home on multiple occasions and molested her child sexually when he was in his father's custody.

The woman accused of molesting a minor boy was granted anticipatory bail by the Delhi High Court, The woman had told the court that she already joined the investigation and her custodial interrogation was not necessary.

Justice Rajnish Bhatnagar permitted relief to the woman, who is an assistant professor, after realising that the medical documents submitted by the mother were not genuine in the context of the allegations imposed on the accused.

The judge said that the medical document submitted by the mother did not support her statement and had "interpolation and addition of words" as per the reports.

The court also warned the mother against imposing false accusations in the future.

The accused woman was granted anticipatory bail on the ground that the allegation was made by the mother to take revenge and that the father of the child already registered a divorce in the year 2019.

The court declared that the accused woman was not guilty of the allegations imposed by the mother. The court was also made aware of the alleged relationship between the accused woman and the father of the child in question.

The accused woman was also directed by the court to stay in the country till the case is running and was dismissed from meeting the child till the recording of the child's statement.

Further, the accused was not permitted to visit the school of the child. The mother in her complaint also mentioned that her husband and the accused worked at the same place and were romantically involved.

The FIR was filed against the accused for allegedly committing offences under Section 377 IPC and Section 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
