The last few years have seen multiple Indian women setting new and extraordinary records when it comes to mountaineering. These women have defied all odds and achieved their goals with sheer determination. Shivangi Pathak is another such girl who is ready to take on the world yet again with her immense strength and conviction.
The 16-year-old is leaving on April 6 for Mt Everest's base camp. The teenager aims to become the youngest Indian girl to scale the world's highest peak. The Haryana girl will begin her climb to the summit in mid-May, TOI reported from Kathmandu.
According to the Seven Summit Treks, Shivangi reached Kathmandu last week to begin her Everest climb. A team of fully trained high-altitude guides will be accompanying Shivangi Pathak to the top of Mt Everest, Sherpa added.

Shivangi is inspired by Arunima Sinha, the first Indian amputee to climb Mt Everest. Her parents are her biggest strength and stand by all the choices she makes, she said.
The gutsy girl believes that women can overcome every obstacle to achieve their goals.
The girl from Hisar has completed her basic and advance mountaineering courses at Jawahar Institute of Mountain. She is also participating in different high-altitude training in Kashmiri glaciers.
