Just when we thought the year 2018 could not get any better for India’s T20 captain Harmanpreet Kaur, the all-rounder played a brilliant hit, batting a big six which cracked straight through the heart of a van's window.
The batswoman, playing for Lancashire Thunder, stole the show with two famous hits today at the ongoing 2018 season of the Kia Super League. The tournament, which started on July 22, will go on till August 27. Kaur is at the peak of her form, played an innings of 74 runs in her team’s tie against Yorkshire Diamonds. She scored 74 off just 44 deliveries.
The innings will forever be memorable as she scored a total of six sixes and four fours. Since the hit and the cracked-glass window of a van, social media is abuzz with praise for the Indian cricketer.

Kaur, who is captaining Lancashire Thunder, posted a total of 154/9 on the board in 20 overs. She was the only batswoman to hit a six in the match and also recorded a first half-century in the tournament.
Kaur has become the second Indian cricketer to play in the league. Smriti Mandhana was the first to play in KIA, by joining defending champions Western Storm earlier in June
In 2016, Harmanpreet Kaur became the first Indian player to sign the Big Bash League contract. She was slated to play for the Surrey Stars in last year’s competition. But she missed out because a shoulder injury was taking a toll on her which she sustained at the 2017 World Cup.
