Wholesome Video Of Elderly Couple Feeding Sweets To Each Other After A Fight Goes Viral

Social media timelines are regularly bustling with viral content on various subjects. This time, a video of an elderly couple's fight and reconciliation at a police station got viral.

The couple in the video had reportedly visited a police station in the Gonda district of Uttar Pradesh to resolve their fight. The police officers then acted as mediators and helped the couple reconcile. Some police officers in the viral video were seen motivating the couple to get past the fight and feed each other laddoo, an Indian sweet.

In a wholesome exchange that started next, the wife offered to feed her husband first. He is still annoyed and said if he she could just hand him the sweet but she insisted on feeding him and was helped by the push from police officers. The man was then asked to feed his wife. He offers the laddoo to his wife and cautions her not to bite him. this made the people present at the police station laugh and the people on social media who widely shared the video.

Netizens expressed how the video of the elderly couple cheered them up with their playful exchange. The video was first shared by a Uttar Pradesh police officer named Sachin Kaushik. He wrote in the caption, "दादा-दादी का झगड़ा हुआ और थाने तक पहुँच गया, अब समझौता देखिए।" Grandfather-grandmother fought and it reached police station, now see reconciliation.

As per a report by Live Hindustan, the elderly couple seen in the video have been married to each other for the past 50 years. However, they didn't live together due to a fight. Since both of them are old now, they reportedly reached a nearby police station to air their grievances towards their spouse. The police officers after listening to the complaints of both husband and wife tried to resolve their fight.

Reportedly, after much discussion and counselling, the police officers convinced the couple to forgive each other and stay together. The cops then asked the couple to feed sweets to each other and sent them home together. The incident took place in Katra Bazaar area of Gonda district in UP. As per reports, the elderly couple were so convinced after the counselling at the police station that they promised to stay together for the rest of their lives.
