Chennai School Girl Brutally Attacked By Cow

The horrifying video was captured on a CCTV camera on Illango Street, MMDA Colony of Chennai. Two cows in the video can be seen walking ahead of the girl and her family members in the narrow street when one cow suddenly turns towards the girl and attacks her with its horns. After picking the girl with its horns, it's visible how the cow throws her on the ground and repeatedly attacks her.

The mother and the victim's little brother managed to escape the attack and stand at a safe distance from the scene. Hearing the mother's scream, the neighbours suddenly rushed to the scene and while a few men tried to scare off the cows and make loud noises, the cows relentlessly kept attacking the girl.

A local then tried to chase away the cows with a stick which finally led them to flee the scene.

The victim, identified as Ayesha, was rushed to the nearby hospital. By the end of the video, she can be seen struggling to stand up on her own, given the impact of the attack. The girl received some severe injuries and is currently being treated for her head injury.

The cows are said to belong to a neighbourhood resident named Vivek and an FIR has been charged against him as well. The Chennai Corporation officials said that they would impound the cattle and levy taxes on the owners if animals create further inconvenience or harm to the public, or if other norms of cattle breeding were violated in the city.
