A 16-year-old girl from Ghaziabad experienced a near-death fall while allegedly filming videos on the balcony of her sixth-floor apartment. The teenager, identified as Molisha Ahluwalia, luckily survived because she landed on a large flower pot. The incident happened at the Cloud 9 Society in Indirapuram at around 4 p.m. on August 13, according to Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Swantantra Singh. Neighbours and passersby rushed to the spot and took her to the hospital.
What Happened?
Molisha Ahluwalia, a Class 11 student, was reportedly making videos on her mobile phone placed on a ledge on the balcony. According to reports, the device accidentally slipped and the teenager bent down to catch it but fell to the ground floor herself.
Ahluwalia landed on shrubs in a flower pot, which fortunately lowered the impact of the freak accident and saved her life. A security guard heard the loud noise and discovered the teenager lying in a pool of blood, wailing in pain.
A video of the incident has been going viral on social media. The neighbours picked her up and rushed her to a hospital, where doctors reported that she was in a stable condition. However, Ahluwalia has suffered many injuries including a leg fracture.

Another incident, where filming reels turned into a close call, happened in Maharashtra's Satara, where a woman fell into a 150-feet deep gorge. The injured woman was rescued by a team of adventurers and mountaineers, reports stated.
The woman from Pune had visited the Borne Ghat with a group of eight. She was filming herself when she allegedly slipped and fell into a gorge. A video of her rescue has gone viral on social media, where she can be seen terrified and crying in pain.
