Get To Know Keerthy Suresh, The Actress Starring In The Telugu Netflix Film Miss India

An Indian film actress and model, Keerthy Suresh predominantly works for Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam film industries. Recently, the actress is going to appear in the Telugu film Miss India which will stream on Netflix from 4 November. In the film, she will play the role of Samyukta, a young middle-class woman who aspires to start a business. Suresh was born to Malayalam film producer and director G. Suresh Kumar and Tamil actress Menaka. She started her career in acting as a child artist, she worked in several films like Pilots, Achaneyanenikkishtam, Kuberan, and some television serials. While pursuing her education in fashion design from pearl academy she made her first lead role debut with the horror film Geethanjali, in which she played a dual role.

Since then, she has done several like Ringmaster in which she played the role of a blind girl, the film was a success and was termed as a super hit movie. In 2014, the star signed her several Tamil projects and appeared in her first Tamil movie which was a romantic comedy, Idhu Enna Maayam, opposite actor Vikram Prabhu. The actress has performed in movies like Agnyaathavaasi, Thaana Serndha Kootam, and Nag Ashwin-directed epic Mahanati where she portrayed the late southern actress Savitri among many others.

One of her recent performances includes her thriller film Penguin, which was released on Amazon Prime due to the pandemic. About the year 2020, she is going to appear in multiple projects such as a Malayalam film Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham alongside Mohanlal and directed by Priyadarshan, and three Telugu films: Miss India, Good Luck Sakhi, and Rang De opposite Nithiin.

The actress has received several accolades for her outstanding performance in the movie Mahanati. She received the National Film Award, 66th Filmfare award 8th South Indian International Movie Awards in the category of best actress. In 2018, the Indian film festival also honored her with the best actress award.
