After a video on social media of the German woman, Shani Louk being paraded naked while being transported in a pickup truck by Hamas terrorists on the streets of Israel went viral, reports of her being found dead have emerged.
Hamas militants abducted a 30-year-old German tattoo artist, from a peace music festival located near the Gaza border following their attack on Israel on the morning of October 7.
Reports Of Death
Shani's first cousin Adi Louk sharing the news on social media, wrote, "We are saddened to announce the death of my sister Shani Louk."
Meanwhile, Israeli authorities expressed their grief and wrote, "Shani, who was abducted from a music festival and subjected to torture, then paraded through Gaza by Hamas militants, endured unimaginable horrors. Our hearts are shattered."
The Story Of Shani
Earlier this month, after Hamas' attack on the music festival, the militant group shared a video on social media depicting Louk being publicly displayed in the rear of a pickup truck, where she was partially undressed.
The distressing video capturing the violent incident rapidly circulated on the internet. In the footage, multiple armed Hamas militants can be heard chanting "Allahu Akbar" from the open rear of the truck, while a crowd assembled around it. One of the Hamas fighters had his leg positioned over Louk's waist, and another grabbed a portion of her dreadlocks.
Within the crowd, some individuals proceeded to spit on the woman's body before the truck quickly departed from the scene.
It remains unknown whether the victim is alive or dead.
Identification & Family's Ordeal
As reported by The New York Post, Adi had confirmed that the family members identified the victim soon after the video went viral on social media.
When Hamas militants infiltrated from the Gaza Strip, Louk's family attempted to contact her, according to another one of Shani's cousins Tom Weintraub Louk. However, at that juncture, they had not yet viewed the video featuring her.
"We were aware that she was attending the party," Tom Weintraub Louk stated. "But she didn't respond to our calls."
Mother's Appeals Goes Waste
Soon after her identification, Louk's mother released a video appealing to people for help. Shani's mother, Ricarda, in a video, can be heard saying, "My daughter, Shani Nicole Louk, was abducted this morning along with a group of fellow tourists in southern Israel by Palestinian Hamas."
"We received a video in which I could distinctly see our daughter unconscious in the car with the Palestinians, who were driving in the vicinity of the Gaza Strip. We appeal to you to provide any assistance or information. Thank you very much."
The mother of Shani Louk, the woman whose body was seen on video in the back of a pick-up truck driven by Palestinian terrorists to Gaza, released a statement earlier today.

Israel-Palestine Conflict
The music festival Louk participated in was allegedly one of the initial locations targeted by Hamas insurgents. The ongoing situation is a source of significant concern, and additional information is eagerly anticipated.
The initial attack involved a substantial barrage of 5,000 rockets launched by the Hamas militant group at Israel on Saturday morning. Subsequently, the militants breached the country's borders.
Foreign nationals have also been captured, with reports indicating that seven Nepali individuals were wounded in Israel, and Hamas militants have taken 17 hostages. The ongoing conflict has resulted in an estimated 500 casualties in both Israel and Palestine.
