A case was lodged against 3 producers of businessman Raj Kundra's company, where Vasisth was also named among accused.
On Friday, Vasisth said that she was accused of outraging the modesty of women and wrongful confinement for coming out in support of the businessman and further accused the complainant of ulterior motives.
"All I expect from the police is that my chat with the girl should be brought forward and produced in court,” Vasisth told a leading daily.
Vasisth added, “I was arrested in February 2021, why didn’t she come forward after that and took so much time to file the case? I guess this is because I have come out in support of Raj Kundra. She has been planted so that I get scared and stop speaking out the truth.”
The Gandi Baat actor was arrested along with three other men by the Mumbai Police in February for rape and alleged connection in producing pornographic videos.
Kundra is currently in judicial custody, for his involvement in the alleged racket. The police have stated that he is the key conspirator in the case and they have enough evidence against Kundra.

Vasisth has claimed right from the beginning of the case that she participated in Kundra's videos and films but they cannot be classified as porn. She said that the contents were similar to those of OTT erotic scenes. She added that she participated in the same in her own will and no one forced her into it.
