Gehana Vasisth and Raj Kundra porn racket cases: After businessman Raj Kundra's arrest on Monday night in a case related to alleged production and distribution of pornographic content, television actor Gehana Vasisth - who is herself out on bail in a case related to a porn racket in Mumbai - issued a statement expressing faith in the law and police.
The statement, reportedly issued by Vasisth's publicist, mentions she is "on bail in the same cases" and that the "police should investigate fully as there are many more skeletons in the cupboards of the rich and famous."
Gandii Baat actor Vasisth was booked with eight other persons earlier this year in February after Mumbai Police busted illegal activities in Madh Island, where small-time actors were allegedly being lured into pornographic work on the pretext of fame. Vasisth was granted bail last month, reports said.

According to a Times of India report, Umesh Kamat, a former employee of Kundra, was named in Vasisth's case and accused of selling her 'obscene' videos.
"We have full faith in Mumbai police, but they should not mix up porn with erotica or bold content... The courts will eventually decide during trial as to who are the real culprits and which of the arrested accused were merely used, by others," the statement by Vasisth's publicist reads.
Kundra, the husband of Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty, on Tuesday was sent to police custody till July 23 in the porn case. The Mumbai Police Commissioner has named Kundra as the "key conspirator" in the case and that authorities have "sufficient evidence" against him. Follow the case here.
As per reports, a complaint was made against certain online platforms for objectionable portrayal of women. One accused arrested had a reported link to Kundra via a startup. Kundra had denied his role in the offences pertaining to the said obscene filmography. He sought anticipatory bail in the case last month, a court order for which is pending.
