Retweeting the same tweet, her husband and Indian superstar, Shah Rukh Khan proudly wrote, " Chalo ghar mein kisi ko to award mil rahe hain!!" At least someone in the house is getting awards.
Gauri Khan, a National Institute of Fashion Technology alumna, is a well-known interior designer, as she has helped transform homes of many Bollywood celebrities. Karan Johar, Ranbir Kapoor Siddharth Malhotra, Jacqueline Fernandez and Alia Bhat are among her many customers. Apart from Bollywood celebrities, she has also designed spaces for people like Mukesh Ambani, Roberto Cavalli and Ralph Lauren.
Currently, Khan has her flagship stores in India and abroad. She talks about making cosy spaces for her customers and not being in any hurry to expand her business. In 2018, she made it to the Fortune India Most Powerful Women list. Khan is also the co-founder of production house Red Chillies Entertainment along with her husband, Shah Rukh Khan. Gauri Khan has been using Instagram to speak up on many issues such as colourism as well when she came out in support of her daughter Suhana Khan’s post.
Recently she transformed Mannat's terrace and shared some pictures on Instagram. Her Instagram is often filled with interior design and home decor fodder. A while back she shared the pictures of the couple’s Delhi residence which is now available at Airbnb.
