Wedding bells for Gauahar Khan as she and boyfriend Zaid Darbar announced their wedding date with adorable photos on Instagram. The couple will be tying the knot on December 25.

Putting an end to months of speculations about their relationship, the actress Khan finally made it official on Instagram that she has fixed a wedding date on Christmas with social media influencer Zaid Darbar. He is the son of music composer Ismail Darbar, who proposed to the actress recently, and they got engaged last month.
Taking to Instagram, Khan and Darbar shared photos in colourful traditional outfits from their pre-wedding photoshoot and wrote the caption "#25thDec2020".

Talking about their relationship, Khan said, “I was averse to the idea of being with anyone when I met him. Yet, I felt this was something different because I had never met someone like him. I felt this is my kind of human being. He is like me in many ways in thoughts, behaviour, history and characteristics. So, I knew we would have a great friendship. We didn’t have a courtship."
"I met him, we hit it off and he didn’t think he would propose to someone, marriage was not on his mind. When he asked me, it wasn’t planned. It was in a flow and after meeting me, in literally over a month, he proposed to me. There were no second thoughts,” she added.

Recently, in an interview with Khan called Darbar the "most amazing human being". Talking about their lockdown memories, she shared, “Especially during the lockdown, I was seeing life from a different perspective. I wasn’t looking for love and when I met him, it wasn’t like I had butterflies in my stomach instead it was more that I met my human. I could connect to him, he can handle me, understand and take care of me, love me and be my best friend. It is a little unbelievable when people hear our story. Our families know that this was meant to be."
"Keeping in mind the current scenario, we will be celebrating the big day with our family in an intimate ceremony," the couple said in a statement. While Darbar is a choreographer, Khan was recently seen in Bigg Boss 14. She is the winner of Bigg Boss 8 and was seen in movies like Ishaqzaade, Begum Jaan etc.
