pic.twitter.com/CPX5JvKaS5

Daughters equal to sons
Pokhriyal further wrote about his daughter’s posting and that daughters are equal to sons. “I am happy that Shreyasi decided to go to the Army and complete the studies of MBBS from the Himalayan Medical Colleges and serve the country. Today the daughters are no less than men in any field, and our duty is that we work for our daughters to get equal education for sons,” he added.

The former CM has also mentioned how important it is for parents to take the responsibility to provide daughters the best education they deserve. The BJP leader happened to find out about his daughter’s interest in joining the Army during a trek to Kedarnath.
More power to you Dr Shreyasi!
