Florida Woman Finds 1 Billion Dollars: A Florida woman, Julia Yonkowski, went to her local Chase Bank in Largo on June 19 to withdraw some money. Before she could withdraw 20 dollars from her account she decided to check her balance first.
Much to her surprise, she found out that she had become a billionaire when she got the bank receipt. Yonkowski had $999,985,855.94 sitting in her checking account.
She then contacted her local Chase bank after she saw the unexpected amount in her account, however, they didn’t return her calls.
During an interview with WFLA, she confessed that she was “horrified” upon checking her balance and seeing such a huge amount deposited in her Chase bank account.
“Oh my God, I was horrified. I know most people would think they won the lottery but I was horrified,” Yonkowski said.
However, she had no intention to keep the money for herself since it’s not her money.
“I know I’ve read stories about people that took the money or took out money, and then they had to repay it,” she continued.
Julia Yonkowski, who hasn’t touched her account since Saturday night, was also “scared” by the error because there is a possibility of “cyber threats”.
The glitch that made Yonkowski a billionaire is still unclear. Although, the error made the 615th wealthiest person in the United States overnight.

Rush Balloon said she was shocked when she checked her account balance at Legacy Texas Bank which had $37,203,337 she couldn't explain.
She then informed her husband about it and reached out to the bank.
LegacyTexas Bank told the couple the money was the result of a clerical error and the mistake was corrected.
"I was a millionaire, I have a screenshot of it so I can say that now," Balloon told KTVT-TV.
