On Thursday, a judge in Jacksonville ordered the Florida woman to pay a fine of 500 dollars and ordered that she will have to participate in a mental health evaluation along with anger management and serve a probation term for six months. This information was forwarded by David Chapman, communications director for the state attorney’s office in Jacksonville in an email. Besides the above, the woman has also been ordered to pay for her victim's COVID-19 test expenses as well.

Debra Hunter was arrested last year in June for her misbehaving with a woman, named Heather Sprague inside the Pier 1 store. She was engaged in a heated argument with the store's employees and made a rude gesture to Sprague and then coughed on her.

Sprague who is being treated for a brain tumour told the judge that she and her family had been searching for a place where they can be tested for the coronavirus for many days. Their tests came out to be negative.

As far as Debra Hunter is concerned, her husband told the judge that their family has been having a hard time before the incident occurred. “It was like air being inflated into a balloon, and it finally got to the point where she couldn’t handle any more air.. And then she finally rubbed up against something and just popped," he said.

He also added that their family and children are facing the consequences of Hunter's actions.
