Meet The Femina Miss India 2024 Winner, First and Second Runners-Up
Nikita, who started her career at 18, has been working as an actor and TV anchor. She received her crown from last year’s winner, Nandini Gupta, while former Miss India Neha Dhupia had the honour of placing the Miss India sash on her.
The glamorous finale featured a performance by Sangeeta Bijlani, who also walked the ramp. Other notable personalities spotted on the red carpet included Neha Dhupia, actor Raghav Juyal, and Anusha Dandekar, who was part of the jury.
This year’s Miss India pageant launched a nationwide search for talented individuals through auditions held across the country. The rigorous scouting process led to the selection of 30 state winners, who then participated in an intensive training program at a pageant boot camp run by industry experts.
These 30 contestants vied for the prestigious title of Femina Miss India 2024 during the Grand Finale. The winner will represent India at the Miss World pageant, which is a significant opportunity for any contestant. Along with fame, winning the title allows the winner to reside in Mumbai.
The Miss India pageant has a rich history, having crowned five former winners of Miss World: Aishwarya Rai in 1994, Diana Hayden in 1997, Yukta Mookhey in 1999, Priyanka Chopra in 2000, and Manushi Chhillar in 2017. This year marks the 60th anniversary of the Miss India organisation, and to celebrate this milestone, they released a musical anthem titled Rise of Queen, now available on various streaming platforms worldwide.
