A 21-year-old pregnant woman found dead in Florida has been identified as one Felicia Jones. Investigating officials are reportedly treating the case as "suspicious" with a possibility of foul play. Jones was nine months pregnant and was due to deliver a baby boy on October 8.
According to local First Coast News, a passerby came across Jones' body at Riverview Park on September 25 early morning 6:30 AM. Police at the scene after a 911 call was placed pronounced her dead. Authorities in Jacksonville are probing the case.
The young woman's family and investigators have put out appeals asking people with relevant information surrounding the death to come forward. Relatives told media Jones was looking forward to being a first-time mother.

"We wanted this baby. I was super excited about my nephew... Felicia, better known as Fee Fee, she was a beautiful person inside and out. She had that bubbly spirit," an aunt of Jones was quoted telling the press.

In the past few days, there has been a high glare on the disappearance and death of vlogger Gabby Petito, which has brought a renewed interest in missing person cases and killings of young women in the United States.
Petito, 22, was reported missing earlier this month after taking a cross-country trip with her boyfriend across the US. Days after search teams were deployed around Wyoming, where police believed she was last seen, Petito's dead body was found September 19 at Grand Teton, a national park. Her death was ruled a homicide and investigations are ongoing. Her partner Brian Laundrie also went missing soon after the disappearance of Petito and is a "person of interest" in the case.
