Two of this farmer's daughters were already in the Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) and now another three have cracked the civil services exam. That's a house of 5 lady civil servants.
The farmer, Sahdev Saharan, from Hanumangarh in Rajasthan could only manage to study upto class 8th. His wife didn't manage an education.
This year, three of his daughters, Anshu, Reetu and Suman, got admitted into the administrative service of the state. Two of Saharan's daughters are already working in the state service. Anshu got 31st rank Reetu got 96th while Suman got 98th rank.
Roma, their elder sister, passed the RAS exam in 2010 and became the first RAS officer in her family.
Roma is currently Block Development Officer (BDO) at Sujangarh in the Jhunjhunu district. Their second sister, Manju serves the Cooperative Department at Nohar, Hanumangarh. She had cracked the RAS exam in 2017.
Inspiring Story

Asha Kandara is a single mother of two, who worked as a sweeper but did not get bogged down after her husband left her in 2002. She continued to educate herself and cleared the exam. She shared her thoughts after getting selected and said, "When I got selected in RAS on Tuesday, my happiness knew no bounds."
