Emma Roberts Shares First Photo Of Her Baby Boy Two Weeks After Giving Birth

Emma Roberts joyously thanked the year 2020 for "getting one thing right" and shared the first picture of her newborn son on Instagram. The 29-year-old actor, who has 15.5 million followers, on Tuesday shared her son's  name and wrote, "Our bright light Rhodes Robert Hedlund." In the very first public picture, she can be seen cradling Rhodes in her arms.

They have been dating for over a year and had announced pregnancy on August 30. The actress had uploaded a photo of herself and Hedlund and told fans that this is the first child for both of them. She had captioned it: “Me...and my two favourite guys."

Last year in November, Roberts became the first pregnant woman to appear on the cover of Cosmopolitan. The actor said that when she was 16-year-old, she used to think that she will be married with kids by the time she reaches 24 years of age.

"And then I was 24 and I was like, 'Remember when I said I would be married with kids by now?" She added that the idea sounds "cheesy" but she said that the moment she stopped thinking about it she was pregnant.

It was also reported that the Holidate actress had faced complications before conceiving as she had undiagnosed endometriosis a few years back. She recalled that a doctor telling her to freeze her eggs or look into other options.

Talking about her experience of being pregnant, she had earlier opened up saying that she was always feeling "hungry and tired".

The then mother-to-be had said, "Food and sleep do not abide by the normal laws when you’re pregnant. "

"But I’m healthy, which is the thing I’m most grateful for."
