Journalist Piers Morgan Takes A Potshot At Emily Ratajkowski's Nude Pregnancy Shoot

Emily Ratajkowski Pregnancy Photos: The model and actor, who is expecting her first child, has come under fire from English journalist Piers Morgan for some nude pregnancy photos she posted of herself on Instagram. On Good Morning Briton, the news show hosted by him, Morgan remarked how it seems it's almost "mandatory" for female celebrities to strip down during pregnancy.

"The whole point is she has gone completely naked - it seems almost mandatory now for famous women, when they're pregnant, to go naked. Just to show what a naked pregnant woman looks like," he said. "Congratulations to Emily Ratajowski, an old friend of the show. A very private lady, very concerned about her privacy as always, and has revealed very private pictures of herself."

In a series of photos, over several posts, Ratajkowski could be seen posing for the camera with her heavy baby bump on full display. The model even blurred one photo as per Instagram's guidelines. Photos were clicked by her husband Sebastian Bear-McClard at the couple's New York City home.

Morgan is also drawing backlash for comments he made on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's recent interview with Oprah Winfrey. He said the former royal couple's public appearance, after expressing the wish to step away from public duty, had "obvious double standards and extraordinarily arrogant desire."

Not The First Morgan Has Hit Out At Ratajkowski

Morgan, who is no stranger to controversy, especially with regard to critiquing nudity, had previously been slammed for calling Ratajkowski a "global bimbo."

In 2017, some sizzling photos Ratajkowski posted of herself on Instagram eating spaghetti in her lingerie, prompted Morgan to say on national television, "She's posted something on Instagram about how what we are watching now is unbelievably empowering to feminists... I don't know quite what she is. She's a global bimbo."

Ratajkowski, who shot to fame with Robin Thicke's controversial Blurred Lines video, has often embraced nudity as part of her modelling stint. She has previously walked the ramp for labels like Miu Miu, Dolce and Gabbana and Versace. Ratajkowski, despite the controversies surrounding her as regards female sexuality, has expressed confidence in feminism and inclusivity.
