Students Raise Concerns During The Meeting
The meeting helped students to raise concerns regarding various issues pertaining to the examinations. When a student asked about commuting to examination centres in the midst of the pandemic, Pokhriyal said that students must erase such fears from their mind. He supported his stance by talking about how the NEET and JEE exams were successfully held last year.
In the meeting, he also said that all Kendriya Vidyalaya schools will resume to offline classes soon. The education minister added that this will be done in phases, adding that both the online and offline modes will be used even after schools reopen.
The minister also announced that the JEE (Mains) examination will be conducted in four months i.e, February, March, April and May. The CBSE Board examinations will commence from May 4 to June 10. However, the schedule for the NEET exam hasn't been announced yet.
Ramesh Pokhriyal, who is also the Chairman of the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, was assisted by Commissioner, KVS Nidhi Pandey, Additional Commissioner, KVS V Vijayalakshmi during the meet.
