This year, overall, was a well-balanced scorecard for the shuttler. While she failed to clinch the Korea Open Superseries title for India, she held on to the Syed Modi Grand Prix Gold crown she had won earlier this year, along with the silver medal at the Glasgow World Championships – a few of her greatest matches in history.
Sindhu has recently slipped a place to be number three in the world rankings.
