Dream Girl Fame Rinku Singh Nikumbh Dies Of COVID-19 Complications

Rinku Singh Nikumbh, who was seen starring next to Ayushmann Khurrana in Dream Girl died of COVID-19 complications. The news of her demise was confirmed by her cousin named Chanda Singh Nikumbh.

According to reports, Nikumbh was admitted to an intensive care unit in a hospital. She had tested positive for COVID-19 on May 25, according to her cousin. She was reportedly put in home isolation before and later shifted to a hospital.

Nikumbh father had fallen after she tested positive for the virus and that is when she was admitted to a hospital. As she was also suffering from asthma, her health started to deteriorate after a few days, that is when she was shifted to the ICU. Her cousin also reportedly confirmed that Nikumbh had taken her first jab of the COVID-19 vaccine on May 7 and was up for the second dose soon.

Chanda Singh Nikumbh said, " She was considering going to Goa for an ad shoot recently, but we didn’t let her go as we wanted to protect her from COVID. Who knew, she would be infected at home."

Apart from her role in Ayushmann Khurrana starter Dream Girl, Rinku Singh Nikumbh had also become part of many famous series such as Meri Haanikarak Biwi, Chidiyaghar among others. In 2020, Rinku Singh Nikumbh has been cast in Dhadkan, a medical drama on Sony Entertainment Television. Her most popular film, Dream Girl, had popular actors such as Annu Kapoor, Nushrratt Baruccha, Abhishek Banerjee, Manjot Singh, Nidhi Bisht, raj Bhansali and Vijay Raaz. The film had come to screens in 2019.

As of June 4, 2021, a total of 96, 751 people have died of COVID-19 in Maharashtra, as per official records. The number of cases in the state is 57,76,184 with 15,169 new cases recorded on June 4.
