“I just want to say to other women that the way my daughter has made us proud, they should also give their daughters a chance to live their dream and shouldn't kill them in the womb,” Kaur's mother told ANI.
She admires Harmanpreet's father’s dedication towards her cricketing dream, which led her to win hearts. Her achievement is the result of the support she got from him as he was the one to take her to the grounds for practice when she was a kid, Kaur's mother emphasised.

Listening to the proud parents, we are certain that empowerment happens when a person has the family's support. If the country needs to develop, unbiased thinking and believing in your daughter or son is of utmost importance.
