On January 2, Divya Pahuja, 27, was taken there by five individuals and allegedly shot in the head. A week later, her lifeless body surfaced in a Haryana canal, exposing the grim reality of the heinous act. Abhijeet Singh, the hotel owner, stands accused, and the Gurugram Crime Branch swiftly apprehended three linked to the crime: Abhijeet Singh, Prakash, and Indraj, both employees at his hotel. Suspected of direct involvement, they reportedly paid Rs 10 lakh to dispose of Divya's body.
CCTV footage from January 2 captured the trio's arrival at the hotel, proceeding to room 111. Disturbing visuals later revealed them dragging Divya's lifeless body and transporting it, wrapped in a sheet, to a BMW car. The police investigation hints at a motive involving alleged blackmail, centered around obscene pictures of the hotel owner.
