Divya Bhatnagar’s Brother Releases Screenshots Of Chats Suggesting Her Husband Was Abusive

Television actor Divya Bhatnagar recently passed away due to COVID-19 related complications. After her demise first, her friend Devoleena Bhattacharjee and then her brother Devashish Bhatnagar alleged that her husband Gagan Gabru used to torture and beat her. Recently, Devashish Bhatnagar shared screenshots of chats on his sister's Instagram in which the deceased actor was in conversation with a friend and revealed that her husband used to beat her with a belt.

In the chats, Divya Bhatnagar told her friend that her husband married her by threatening her. The actor has also alleged in the chats that he used to beat her with belts and would often get violent with her over small things. Moreover, the late actor alleged that her husband is a “professional” fraud and she had been trying to find proof against him but was unable to do so.

While sharing the screenshots Bhatnagar’s brother also penned down an emotional note that said, “ "I wish i could get to know all this. I wish i could tell her that it is okay to take stand for yourself. I wish i could tell het that girls are the most powerful human species. I wish i could save her from this devil. I want this guy hanged @whogabru. This is guy is been threatening divya bhatnagar that he will get me (her brother) and mother killed, defame her, screw her life if she would share anything with anyone.”

Before Devashish Bhatnagar, the late actor’s close friend Devoleena Bhattacharjee had also shared a video on Instagram in which she levelled serious allegations on Gagan Gabru and also vowed to expose him. Read more about it here

Actor Divya Bhatnagar, who was popular for her work in the serial Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai tested positive for COVID-19 in November. After her condition became critical she was put on ventilator support last week. She passed away on December 7.
