Women are protesting the arrest of their husbands and sons as the Assam government crackdown on child marriage led to more than 1,800 people being arrested.
One protester asked, "Why take only the men? How will we and our children survive? We have no means of income."
Another woman claimed that her son eloped with a minor girl but was confused why her husband was arrested.
