Seems India skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s wife Sakshi Dhoni’s life is under threat. The wife of former Indian cricket captain reportedly seeks to own a gun after claiming threat to her life.
Sources said that Sakshi is expected to get an arms licence from the Ranchi district administration. According to official sources, Sakshi has already started the procedure of applying for a revolver. She stated that her life is in danger as she spends most of the time alone in Ranchi, and hence expressed a threat to her security, NDTV reported.
"I have to move alone for work and I feel a security threat," an official quoted her application as saying
While her husband MS Dhoni already has an arm licence in his name, now she aims to get one for herself in case of emergency.
Dhoni last year shifted to his farmhouse at Daladali of Ranchi from his earlier house at the Harmu Housing Colony. Though Dhoni’s house in Ranchi gets police protection throughout the year, special arrangements of security are made on sensitive occasions for extra safety.

According to reports in Zee Media, Sakshi wants to get a pistol or a .32 revolver for her protection.
She often travels for personal work and feels unsafe around while her husband is away.
