Indians do not lag behind any other country in the world, when it comes to obsessing over HBO’s massively popular television show, and seems like the brilliant designer isn't any different. But since Masaba is, well, Masaba, she gets to put her fandom for GoT to a creative use and we are not complaining.

As per a report in Mid-Day, Masaba confirmed the exclusive deal but remained “tight-lipped about the details because of an embargo. But a well-placed source tells us that she has acquired the official license to create apparel, home products and jewellery inspired by the cast of the epic show, for India, the UK and Indonesia. This line will release during the finale season."
The release of the final season of the biggest ever American fantasy drama GoT has a cult following. Starting from the apparel or even the massively heavy coats and costumes, we love 'em all! Announcing a first-of-its kind collaboration, ace designer Gupta has acquired the Game of Thrones license to launch her Designer Limited Edition Collection in apparel.
"Can I please say it one more time so it can hit me that I have a game of thrones collaboration next year. Winter is coming." Masaba shared the news on her official Instagram handle last year.
For the Queens, the apparel collection comprises of mixed cultural aesthetic capes, kaftans, trench coats, stud embroidered corsets, dhoti sarees and even a gown saree. For the Kings out there, a collection of bomber jackets, sharp power suits, long trench, kurta and even t- shirts will be stored. The designs are inspired by the spectacular gardens, medieval palaces and diabolical war. The jewellery collection, however, will give you the feels of elements like the kingdom’s sigils, filigree leaves and armours that make it stand out.
The ace designer will be launching her collection exclusively on Star World.

"We've done about 20 to 25 women's wear, about eight menswear looks and we've done jewellery. So it's all inspired not just a costume in the show, but also by the canvas of the show and by the entire theme and backdrop for the show presents itself, so that's the inspiration for the entire collection," Masaba shared in an interview with DNA.
Talking further about who does she adore on the show, she added, "My favourite character is Arya Stark because the evolution of her character has been phenomenal. Someone who from being delicate to a more tomboyish kind of clothes which is her actual being. But I think everybody in the whole show, like Khaleesi and you name it, everybody's such a great inspiration. But for me, the biggest inspiration was the entire canvas of the show, like I said, the palette of the show, the scale of the show was a big inspiration."
