A food delivery agent was recently arrested after he molested a teenage female customer after making a delivery at her place in Pune. The incident happened in the Yewalewadi area of Pune when the girl offered the delivery man water after he delivered her food.
The 40-year-old man, who works with a food delivery app as a delivery agent, forcefully tried to kiss the teenage girl, according to reports. The police took him into custody after the girl lodged a complaint against him.

Delivery Boy Kisses Teen Forcefully
According to reports, the incident was reported at around 9:30 pm in Pune at the Kondwa police station. The police said that the accused tried to kiss the girl on the pretext of thanking her for water. The girl was taken aback by the incident and registered the complaint soon after. In her complaint, the girl informed the police that the agent asked for a glass of water after he delivered the food to her. She offered him water thinking he genuinely requested it and was shocked to witness what he did next.
"The man then asked for another glass of water and when the woman gave it to him, he allegedly held her hand and molested her," the police said. Narrating the incident, the girl mentioned that the agent asked her where her family members were, and when he discovered that she lives with her two friends who were at the time away from the flat, he took the opportunity to molest her knowing she was alone. It was when the girl turned to bring him another glass of water that he groped her from behind and forcibly kissed her twice on her cheek.
The delivery man told her to not be scared as he was "just like her uncle". When the girl tried raising an alarm, the accused tried to run away, however, the neighbours tracked him and handed him over to the police.
The delivery agent was arrested under IPC sections 354 and 354A. He was released on bail later.
