A school under a flyover in Mayur Phase-I, Delhi is attracting many children from the nearby slum areas.
The school is imparting free education to underprivileged children over the past few years now. “We have 250 children. Children were unable to study in lockdown. We thought why not teach them. The children came to study and are still studying," said a teacher who teaches there.

Satyendra Pal started the school under a flyover
Deepak, a young teacher who teaches there said that they have received a good response. Students from Nursery-KG to class 10 are appearing for the classes. Classes are held between 8 AM and 2 PM. "Response is good. We've around 250 students right now, from Nursery-KG to class 10th. Classes run from 8 am-2 pm. We wanted to build a shelter here as classes get disrupted when it rains. We faced little difficulty from DDA but now it's working properly," said Deepak.

The school under a flyover has grabbed the attention of many, including Delhi's chief minister Arvind Kejriwal. Many netizens praised the youngsters who are teaching at the school. One user on social claimed that the central and state governments weren't doing anything for the education of young children.
Its a shame that govt both central and state can not provide basic education to young ones. China on the other hand has built world class institutions for their children !
