Yet another crime shakes Delhi, this time, it was the murder of two sisters. Two women were reportedly shot in broad daylight in southwest Delhi’s R K Puram on Sunday, June 18. The deceased sisters were shot dead by unidentified shooters. According to preliminary investigation, monetary issues were said to trigger the murder.
Manoj C, deputy commissioner of police (south-west) stated that the police received a phone call at 4:40 am at RK Puram police station. The call informed of the sisters' murder. The official also said that the murder took place after an argument over a loan taken by their brother. The police claimed the assailants came for the victim's brother primarily, but instead shot the two girls after they didn't find him, possibly to settle an issue related to money.
