Ever since Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone starrer Pathaan was released, the songs from the film have become favourites among social media influencers. Many videos of people recreating the dance movements from the songs are going viral on social media. In the latest addition to the trend, a video of professors of Delhi University joining students in a dance to the superhit song "Jhoome Jo Pathaan" is making the rounds on social media.

The Bollywood's Baadshah, Sharukh Khan, who is also an alumnus of the Delhi University, retweeted the video on his Twitter handle. Reacting to the video, he wrote, "How lucky to have teachers and professors who can teach us and also have fun with us. Educational Rockstars all of them!"

The video was shared by Jesus and Mary College’s Commerce Department on its social media handle. In the short video, students are seen vibing to the song "Jhoome Jo Pathan" in what looks like the college amphitheatre. Soon, four professors, all clad in saree enter the scene and set fire to the stage with their performance. The professors are seen performing the famous hook step of the song along with the students. Posting the video, the students wrote that the college has the "coolest professors."

The video was shared on Instagram on February 12 and has gained almost 1.2 million views and about 1 lakh likes. The caption along with the video on Instagram read, "Glimpses of a fun-filled day with the coolest professors of JMC joining the flash mob at Commacumen'23."

Netizens took to the comments section to express their adoration. "Yellow sari, ma'am, on fire," wrote one user. There were numerous comments praising the professor in a yellow saree. "We also deserve professors like this," commented another user. A third user said, "I loved these steps! Such a memory! BTW, I was one of the people who named the fest Acumen. Legacy Pro Max." "The song is the mood of the nation," commented another user.

In 2022, an adorable video of a Delhi school teacher dancing along with students on the last day of the summer cap created a buzz on social media. The video showed students performing the evergreen song Kajra Mohabbat Wala from the film Kismat.

As the students who are standing in a line perform their parts one by one and leave the frame, the teacher who was also standing in the line is seen dancing to the song. Towards the end of the video, the teacher and students are seen dancing together and rocking the floor.

The video that was shot in a classroom was shared by the teacher herself, Manu Gulati. Posting the video, she wrote, "Our imperfect dance moves on the last day of summer camp led to some perfect moments of joy and togetherness." The teacher was widely appreciated by netizens.
