In response to a Twitter user from Delhi, asking whether the Metro is open or not, Delhi Metro tweeted a meme from DDLJ.

Delhi Metro is known for its witty replies and tweets on its official Twitter handle. Recently, when a man wrote to the rail corporation, they replied with a meme featuring Amrish Puri in it from the legendary movie Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge starring Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol.

The man wrote while tagging Delhi Metro's Twitter handle in his post, "Will Metro run on the weekend or will it stay closed? Please let me know as I have to meet my girlfriend. If I don’t, then we will surely break up. Thank you."

To this, the Delhi Metro replied that the Metro is open and functional. They further added a famous dialogue from DDLJ, "Ja ji le apni jindagi," which was Amrish Puri's dialogue after he finally allows Simran to run away with the love of her life.

They also attached a GIF wherein Amrish Puri is seen giving a thumbs up. Their reply is leaving many Twitter users having belly laughs. Check out their tweet here -

Delhi Metro's another hilarious reply to follow social distancing

Previously, the Delhi metro had also given out fun messages of social distancing during the lockdown through memes. One such meme was when Delhiites were planning to travel around the city using the metro during the pandemic.
