The Delhi police has arrested five accused in the case of viral video where men were seen asking for the 'price' of women. The arrests were made in Delhi's Hauz Khas area. According to the repulsive video, men asked a group of women waiting for a cab outside a bar, "rate kya hai (what is your rate)?"
The three women, who were put through this ordeal are from Darjeeling. According to reports, the investigation revealed that the five men, who were natives of Madhya Pradesh, were in Delhi while returning from their visit to the holy Vaishno Devi shrine in Jammu and Kashmir.

Having some time in hand, the five men decided to visit Delhi's Hauz Khas Village on July 18's night.
The accused were identified as 34-year-old Dinesh Ram, 39-year-old Ashish Shivhare, 38-year-old Vikas Shivhare, 29-year-old Ankit Shivhare and 41-year-old Naveen Shivhare.
MP Men Asking The Rate Of Women: Video Goes Viral
Three friends who were residents of the northeastern city of Darjeeling were waiting for their cab outside a bar when the said group of men allegedly passed lewd comments and asked for their rates.
Following the harassment, one of the women started recording the incident and repeated the derogatory comments made against them while the men were seen to be apologising and avoiding the camera.
Later, the women left the area when their cab arrived and filed a complaint at the local police station. According to the same, a case was registered under section 509 (word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
