In the death case of the Delhi Cantt Dalit girl, wherein a 9-year-old was reportedly cremated forcibly by a priest, the Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) has issued summons to the state police.
The death and alleged gangrape of the minor has sent shockwaves through the country, with parallels being drawn between this case and the one from Hathras in Uttar Pradesh last year. #JusticeForDelhiCanttGirl has consistently been in trends on social media as netizens demand an investigation and strict action against the perpetrator.
