A businessman from Delhi, Vishal Goel accused Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty in fraud case along with six others. He has accused them of defrauding him of lakhs of rupees and siphoning off the money for selfish ill-motives.
The Businessman said that Raj Kundra had allegedly shown him a "very rosy picture" and had claimed to involve activities related to gaming, animation, beauty products etc. Goel said that he recently came to know that the business is actually about producing adult porn movies by developing mobile applications and circulating them through it.
The complaint is filed under various sections like cheating and criminal breach of trust, the Information Technology Act, the Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act, and the SEBI Act. Five more individuals accused apart from Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra. They are Umesh Goenka, Satyendra Sarupria, Nandan Mishra, Darshit Shah, and M K Wadhwa.
The complaint read, "These accused persons deliberately induced the complainant to invest Rs 41,33,782 with a view to misappropriate such money and use the same for their personal gains and carry out illegal activities."
The complaint was filed through advocates Sahil Munjal and Rhea Gandhi. They said in their statement, "The result of such unscrupulous, fraudulent and mala fide activities is that the complainant, who was induced to invest, have been cheated and the money has been siphoned off for selfish ill motives."
Metropolitan Magistrate Mansi Malik has posted the complaint for hearing on November 9 after seeking the report of action taken.
Shilpa Shetty, who made her comeback on Super Dancer Chapter 4 after the Raj Kundra Pornography Case has said that she would refrain from giving any statements about it. The police did not give clean shit to Shetty even though they did not find any evidence indicating her active role in the controversy. Now, the businessman from Delhi, Vishal Goel has also accused Shetty in the case.
