A man recently shared a cute revenge his daughter took on him after they had a small disagreement over an issue. The daughter drafted a notice of “father for sale” and put it outside the door of their house.
The eight-year-old valued him at Rs 2 lakh. At the end of the notice, she had written, “Ring bell for more info.”
Daughter Puts Father On Sale after Disagreement
Sharing a photo of the notice on his X handle, the father added a hilarious phrase saying that he feels he is not “valued enough.” The post has garnered over 28k views and has engaged netizens.
The user named Melanchoholic @Malavtweets shared the image of the notice written by his daughter and captioned it, “A minor disagreement and 8-year-old decide to put up a “father for dale” notice outside of our apartment door. Me thinks I am not valued enough.”
Reacting to the post, one user said they thought the child valued the father very highly because, at that age, we tend to think 2 lakhs is a huge amount. Another user conveyed love to her and wished her to always be this badass. A third user asked if the father had apologised to her yet, to which he replied that apologies alone don’t amount to anything. He had to give her extra TV time, extra play time, extra toys, extra dessert, and lots of other extras were needed.
When one user asked what he did to deserve this, the father said his daughter felt he was too busy to play with her after he had played Lego with her for an hour. Another user said they were wondering what “more info” meant after the minor disagreement, referring to the concluding line in the kid’s notice. The father replied, “Good catch!” and joked that he was seeking bids only to find that out.
Adding further context to the post, the father explained in a subsequent tweet that his daughter asked for his monthly salary before making that note. Then she shrugged and kept this amount because she was too bored to add more zeroes. No wonder father-daughter bonds are adorable!
