New York’s school teacher, who taught sex-education classes to first graders that included masturbation lessons, has resigned after parents outraged. According to New York Post, the sex-ed teacher Justine Ang Fonte will not be returning to Dalton next year as mentioned in an email sent by Jim Best, head of school, to the parents on Friday.

However, the school asserted that they “stand firmly behind this program and those who teach it” in the email. Best also mentioned that “Justine Ang Fonte has helped to develop an exemplary K-12 Health and Wellness program”, during her tenure at Dalton.

Besides the parents at the Dalton School, Fonte has also angered parents at another elite school, Columbia Grammar & Prep, where she conducted a one-day workshop on “porn literacy” on May 5.

What did the sex-ed teacher teach the first graders?

Last fall, parents complained to school administrators after they learned that sex-ed lessons provided to their children included cartoons showing little kids talking about “touching themselves” for pleasure. The school dismissed the issue by saying that they had “misinterpreted” what Dalton’s “health and wellness” educator Justine Ang Fonte was teaching.

Earlier, Fonte reassured parents that she didn't mention the word “masturbation” in class and the lessons are meant to teach kids not to touch themselves in public.

The Post confirms that Fonte’s presentation included- “creampie,” “anal,” “gangbang,” “stepmom” and more. Moreover-  a list of the most searched pornographic terms of 2019. One of those slides cited various porn genres such as “incest-themed,” consensual or “vanilla,” and “kink and BDSM”.

In the presentation used in the sex-ed class, there was also something called the “marketability of Only Fans”, a new app that involves sexually explicit content.

Even after the statement released by Dalton, parents don’t seem convinced as one of the parents stated that the inability to “acknowledge misstep is strange” and it shows a “real lack of emotional intelligence and self-awareness”.
