Bangladeshi cricketer Sanjida Islam has taken social media by storm with her latest post. Twenty-four-year-old Islam, who married fellow cricketer Mim Mosaddeak, had an out-of-the-box idea for her wedding photoshoot. She wore a saree, jewellery and carried a bat to the cricket pitch. Islam showcased her love for the sport in wedding attire and is now being cheered by her fans. Islam held the cricket bat, gestured the cover drive and pull shot poses for the camera. Her photos have gone viral.

International Cricket Council on Wednesday shared the viral photos and wrote: "Dress, jewellery, cricketer bat. Wedding photoshoots for cricketers be like."
Bangladesh national women's team cricketer, Islam is a middle-order mainstay for the country. She has played 16 ODIs and 54 T20Is after making her debut in 2014 against Pakistan. She has since scored 174 runs in ODIs and 520 runs in T20Is and a fifty in the shortest format of the game.
In June 2018, she was part of Bangladesh’s squad that won their first-ever Women’s Asia Cup title. She had an eight-year-long international career and was part of the Bangladesh women's team during the Women's T20 World Cup earlier this year. The last match she played was at the World Cup in Melbourne against Sri Lanka.
She married cricketer Mosaddeak, a first-class cricketer from Rangpur, during a family function at Guratipara on Friday (October 18th).
