Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her eight-year-old daughter Aaradhya have tested negative for COVID-19 and thus have been discharged from Mumbai's Nanavati hospital, Abhishek Bachchan confirmed in a tweet. The mother-daughter duo is now doing well in home-isolation.
Sharing the good news with his followers, Abhishek tweeted, "Thank you all for your continued prayers and good wishes. Indebted forever." While father Amitabh Bachchan, 77, and he are still undergoing treatment in the same hospital, the Breathe Into The Shadows actor said that his 46-year-old wife and daughter are in good health and were sent home. He added, "Aishwarya and Aaradhya have thankfully tested negative and have been discharged from the hospital. They will now be at home. My father and I remain in hospital under the care of the medical staff (sic)."

Aishwarya and Aaradhya have thankfully tested negative and have been discharged from the hospital. They will now be at home. My father and I remain in hospital under the care of the medical staff.
Both Aishwarya and Aaradhya had tested positive for novel coronavirus and after complaining difficulty in breathing they were moved to the hospital. Her father-in-law and husband Abhishek have also been admitted there since they tested positive for novel coronavirus on July 11.

“Both Aishwarya and Aaradhya were admitted to Nananvati hospital today. They are fine,” a source had told PTI on July 18. They were admitted after complaining of “breathlessness“, Times of India had reported. According to reports, both the mother and daughter were in self-isolation at the Bachchan residence Jalsa, which was sealed by the Brihanmumbai Corporation (BMC). Aishwarya’s mother-in-law, actress and politician Jaya Bachchan had tested negative for the virus. She remained in isolation at home.
Recently, Big B took to Twitter calling out fake reports that claimed that he had tested negative. He wrote, "This news is incorrect, irresponsible, fake and an incorrigible LIE (sic)."
Now, after 14 days, the containment zone banner has been removed from their house on July 26.
