Watch: Couple Dines Hanging Mid-Air, Netizens Mock It As 'Last Supper'

Imagine a good date night. What comes to your mind? From minimalistic ideas of sitting on the roadside to going to some exotic restaurants, right? However, for a couple, their ideal date is something truly adventurous—a dinner while suspended in mid-air, quite literally. 

 

X user, Matt Pinner, posted the video of this unique date on July 7. It was captioned "What's the first word that comes to mind when you see this?" The video has gathered more than 6.9 million views with people commenting from different perspectives.

Let's first go into the details of the video. The video shows the woman dressed up in a white flowing gown. While the man is smartly suited up in a black suit. The couple is suspended in the air using a cable. While the man is holding the cable to create a balance, the woman is holding the table. The moment they are pushed away from the valley is breathtaking by just looking at its video.

Reportedly, the couple did this stunt as a part of a photoshoot. Not much is revealed in the video except a woman's voice in the background who is encouraging the couple. However, netizens were not very pleased by the video. Rather they raised safety concerns.

One of the users said, "They should at least put a belt on or something in case they fall. At least through the video they don't even have that."

Netizens also found the 'unique' date taking to the skies literally a waste of money.

One user said, "Absolutely dumb and waste of money." Another user pointed out that the couple could have found an equally exotic place on the earth also. The user said, "They couldn't find any space on the earth for date?"

Yet another user pointed out the threat to life due to such stunts and said, "Till death do us part but the death is sooner than you think."
