It is rightly said that love is blind and sees no flaw. A cop and a gangster fell in love when they met in the court premises and married each other. This extraordinary love story began in the premises of a local court compound and ended in Payal, the cop, marrying Rahul Thasrana, the gangster.
Payal has been telling villagers she would resolve their disputes and there is no need to go to the gram pradhan, after she married the gangster Rahul Thasrana
Rahul Thasrana, age 30, was arrested for the murder of trader Manmohan Goyal on May 9, 2014. Not just this but he was also accused of being involved in a dozen of loots and other murders. Payal was posted at the Surajpur court where Thasrana's trials were going on. They both fell in love, as the police sources said that Payal continued to stay in contact with Thasrana visibly as he continued to be in and out of the jail.

Thasrana shared his wedding photos with his friends, which went viral. In the photo, he can be seen sitting in the mandap with Payal, they dressed as groom and bride. The location, however, was undisclosed. At the time when her love story began and till the time she married Thasrana, she was posted at the Gautam Buddh Nagar Police Station. The officials here are, however, clueless about her current posting.
Action To Be Taken Against The Cop
Rural SP Ranvijay Singh said that they have gone through the records of the female constables. “We are verifying where this woman is posted. Action is likely to be taken against her.” he said.

Rahul is a member of Anil Dujana Gang and has been involved in many criminal encounters. Rajkumar Mishra, deputy SP, Noida Unit said that Thasrana entered the world of crime in 2008. “After serving Jail time for the Goyal case after 2014, he has been on our radar since 2016 for threatening villagers. He had said whoever stands against his mother who was running for gram pradhan would have to face consequences.” Mishra said.
Cop Promises Villagers That She'll Resolve Their Disputes
On asking the villagers in Thasrana's village, they said that though Payal shows up in the village after every three-four days, Thasrana hasn't visited the village since the general elections. “Payal has been telling villagers she would resolve their disputes and there is no need to go to the gram pradhan.” said the husband of the gram pradhan to whom Thasrana's mother had lost her title of gram pradhan.
