Companies Slam Trump Ally Harlan Hill For Vulgar Attack On Kamala Harris

Big American companies have reportedly distanced themselves from Harlan Hill, a Washington DC consultant and ally of the Trump administration, for calling Senator Kamala Harris a vulgar name on Twitter. On Wednesday night, during the US vice-presidential debate 2020, Hill tweeted, “Kamala Harris comes off as such an insufferable lying b----. Sorry, it’s just true.”

As per CNBC, Harlan Hill has advocated his support for US President Donald Trump on various occasions. He is also the head of the Logan Circle Group. The company’s website describes it as a “boutique public relations and political consulting firm.”

Companies Distance Themselves From Trump Ally For Calling Kamala Harris A Vulgar Name

Post Hill’s tweet, reputed corporate organisations like American Airlines and AT&T, who are listed on the company’s website as clients, denied having any business relations with him. Jim Greer, AT&T’s spokesperson, told CNBC, “We have found no record of this person working for us, and he certainly never will in the future. We have contacted him and demanded he removes our name and logo from his website.”

Additionally, after Steve Schmidt, co-founder of the Anti-Trump Lincoln Project retweeted Hill’s demeaning tweet about Harris and asked AT&T and American Airlines if they were comfortable being represented by Hill, American Airlines, too, denied any links with the Trump ally. They tweeted, “You are right. We won’t tolerate it. We just told Mr. Hill to stop using our name & logo. He doesn’t represent us & never will.”

Another name on the company’s website is that of Child Justice, a nonprofit organisation that provides pro-bono legal aid to minors exposed to sexual/physical abuse. However, Eileen King, the group’s executive director, told CNBC that Hill hasn’t done any work for them apart from building their website a few years ago. Furthermore, Hill, who has been an occasional guest on Fox News in the past, will no longer appear on the network.

Harlan Hill Attacks Kamala Harris

Hill followed up his October 7 tweet with another one attacking Harris. He tweeted, “You can say the most vile things about Trump AND his family, but don’t you dare speak ill of Queen Kamala LMFAO.”
