"I wanted to be part of the best of the best in cable news and journalism. And as a native Atlantan, this would be my hometown team. Little did I know… I would not only go on to fulfill that dream, I’d flourish in this environment and land my own two-hour show at the age of 31," Baldwin posted an overwhelming video on Twitter. She further added saying that “the next chapter of my life will be focused on what I love the most about my work: amplifying the lives of extraordinary Americans and putting my passion for storytelling to good use.” She also said that “I don’t have a job I’m jumping right into” — she is working on a book — but “I am so excited about what is to come.” Her upcoming book is about women "unlocking their collective power."
Brooke Baldwin is a Peabody Award finalist and News Emmy nominee.
Last year, she had contracted COVID-19 and the network took her show off the air for weeks. During that time she made the decision to release day-to-day battle in a “coronavirus diary” for the network and social media.
